We would like to inform you about a Sponsored Walk that is planned to take place in aid of our nursing home Henry Nihill House.

We are at a stage where we need to raise more money for our nursing home HNH.  It is a home of 30 beds, 20 of these are currently funded by local government or NHS  which is inadequate to cover costs, we give a huge subsidy from the Trust funds and these need to be maintained.

The cost of care is increasing all the time, also rising salaries and upkeep of the buildings.  With the need of the times in which we live, our care ministry is now following a new development as we are increasingly asked to accommodate persons with complex care needs, this requires specialized nurses, special equipment, and adaptation of some of the rooms.  We have 4 beds in this category at present and the full development will be 8 beds.

We have received a generous offer from James, our financial adviser, to undertake a sponsored walk along the English Camino from 16th to 21st March 2020, to raise £5,000.00 which will then be matched.
